HUGE thank you to Terry Metcalfe for the exceptional service we received from him this week. We had previous issues that were unresolved and unknown to us that he found and repaired. His professionalism and knowledge goes unmatched. We received up to date notifications on when he would be arriving and the service was done quickly, efficiently and he ensured we knew all of his steps he took to resolve our concerns. Air Duct Cleaning: We have a maintenance agreement with Francis for both AC and Furnace and have purchased all our heating and cooling units from them. Always happy BUT the experience with the Duct Cleaning has us disappointed with Francis.
We originally booked our cleaning on the recommendation of our maintenance tech. The Duct Cleaning Team came to our house on time and ready to go but found asbestos around some ducts and left. No problem, we had a certified company remove the asbestos and rescheduled. Came a second time and proceeded to check 2 times removing furnace tape until they found a some asbestos and left again. This was in the corner of 2 vents and covered with silicone and tape.
I understand they have policy on asbestos in houses and that is fine.
My recommendation is, if you have an older home, to stay away from Francis for duct cleaning. It was a waste of our time. I wish they would have explained this to us as many older houses do have asbestos around vents. we would have saved time.
We went to another company (same price).
