I would not recommend having this company do any water jet service. I used them to prototype a machine requiring water jet service. Several times on 2 previous prototypes the fabrication was incorrect based on the drawing provided, detailed notes on corrections, and detailed notes on previous fabrication metal pieces, I paid for pieces to be recut.
There were Incorrect bends, holes not matching mirrored side pieces. I paid for those mistakes they made on the first two prototypes the first one in aluminum, then steel, and finally in galvanized. I was hoping additional work we commissioned that mistakes would be resolved.
Provided them with a final drawing on October 28th, 2024 wasn't ready until November 18th, 2024 for pickup upon pickup had several mistakes, said they would correct it and pick up on November 19th, 2024 and it was still incorrect, nearly a month turnaround time for a small fabrication!! When correcting a wrong cut they duplicated the side that was cut right and not the mistake. Several times previously I had to wait a couple weeks on other work for the product and then it was wrong. Finally when I went to pick it up again, on November 19th 2024 and it was incorrect again -The "boss" said we're done here give me a drawing, which they had along with detailed notes and past cut prototypes. The employee who was handling the project wouldn't even come to the counter and the "boss" had zero interest in looking at the mistakes and problem at hand which was clearly obvious. The "boss" said we are done here "refusing to fix the mistakes, at that point I asked for a refund and he told me to call my credit card company. Very unprofessional and rude, do not recommend. Even with all the extra time and paying for mistakes to be fixed, I was always professional and respectful, We are very well versed in machine design, drawings, having our own CNC machines, this particular project required water jet. Very disappointing experience!!!
So I did go to the credit card company costing me more time, it's not the money it's the principal of not owning their mistakes and fixing them, and how rude it was handled by the apparent boss who had no interaction on the whole project. This could have been easily handled by treating customers with respect and correcting their mistakes. I could have easily shown him all supporting documents, drawing, emails, etc.that backed up the mistakes at hand and what I had been dealing with. Very unfortunate and disappointing experience!! I have never had to leave a review of a company like this in over 25 years in this line of work, but the rudeness was so shocking along with the unfathomable incompetence.
I wish I would have read the reviews before going here because I see there was other reviews with similar problems. And I can say this with 100% conviction if I ever had a person in charge in my company that talked to a customer like this with that level of rudeness and disrespect, lack of taking 5 seconds to look at the issues, they would be looking for other employment that day..
My only conclusion is to think that it took them so long to cut the parts (usually 2 weeks) that they were mixing up parts with previous prototypes drawings compared to the final rendition drawing. Even with the drawing, thorough notes, I even went as far as writing measurements on the previous prototypes and left them in their hands.

I highly recommend Adams Steel for your welding and fabrication needs. I had a unique last minute request. The work was done fast, good, and at an extremely reasonable price. I've had welding services done there 3 times in the past few weeks now. Pete is accommodating, knowledgeable, and friendly. Great place!

Not once, not twice ….but FIVE times now! Over the past year I’ve brought in many of my projects only for them to be not cut or fabricated as described in my drawings or have sold me heavily rusted material. (I cant sell rust to my customers!)
I’ve also made it VERY clear how I wanted things done. Every time the instructions on the job ticket have been correct and was as described as intendant. however, they did not execute it very well in the shop and then they wanted to charge me more money to have them fix their mistakes.
I really want to give this shop the benefit but they have cost me so much in time and money that i can’t use them anymore… This is very unfortunate considering how close they are to me…
Sorry guys but you kinda suck…

I recently moved into the area and came to Adams for the first time today to buy some tubing for a project. I was very impressed with the place and with the people that helped me out. I have hobbies that involve a lot of welding and metal fab and will definitely be back!

Scholl Construction has worked with Adams Steel on many residential and commercial jobs. Their pricing is competitive and you won’t meet a nicer or more accommodating person then Mike Chambers. They are great at providing structural or ornamental steel or iron, stainless steel or anything metal. We have ordered back splashes, hood vents, tables and iron railings. I recommend Adams Steel for any of these needs.
